Wanted: Stuffed Animals

The Lynn Camp Beta Club is joining Knox County law enforcement in putting out an all points bulletin… Wanted: Stuffed Animals.

Beta Club members are joining police officers for the Cops that Care program.   The goal is to receive donations of new or gently used stuffed animals that will be shared with young children.

Knox County police officers believe it is important for children to trust the police and understand that they are here to help.  Donated toys are given by local police to the children they interact with in the community.

By donating stuffed animals, donors help to foster a trusting relationship between young children and local law enforcement.

The Cops that Care stuffed animal drive is underway now through December 18.  Drop off locations include Lynn Camp Middle/High School and Lynn Camp Elementary School in Corbin and the Knox County Board of Education Annex in Barbourville.

For more information on the Beta Club’s participation in Cops that Care, or to schedule a large donation, please contact Lynn Camp Middle/High at (606)528-5429.
