Returning home but in a new role.
Aimee Gross, former Knox Central High School (KCHS) teacher, is returning to the school this time as an assistant principal. She will be replacing the role held by Steve Partin (also a former KCHS teacher and former Flat Lick principal), who is retiring from KCPS. She returns having served as principal of Knox County’s Alternative Programs.
Following her selection, Gross shared:
I am excited to be returning to Knox Central after serving as the alternative school principal. Having previously been part of the KC family, I understand the traditions and values that make KC special. KC students and families can expect me to be committed to building positive relationships, maintaining high expectations, and creating a supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed. I believe in open communication, collaboration, and putting students first in every decision. I want to continue supporting student achievement and working alongside our teachers to provide the best possible education to our students. Returning to KCHS feels like coming home. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve here again and look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this a successful year for all.
