Board accepting bids for buses, passenger vehicles, and portable buildings

The Knox County Board of Education has declared surplus on the following assets:

  • Nineteen (19) School Buses of various model/years
  • Four (4) Passenger Vehicles including:

  • Three Outdoor Buildings: 12×10 tan, 16×8 gray, and 8×10 tan

Buses may be viewed at the Transportation Garage from 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday. Passenger vehicles and buildings at the Maintenance Office from 8am-3pm Monday-Friday. The office is located on the right wing of the Knox Co. CTC Tech building at 210-B Wall Street, Barbourville.

Sealed bids for each item will be accepted by mail or in person on/before August 14 at 10am. Bids may be mailed to: Surplus Bid, Knox County Maintenance Office, 210-B Wall Street, Barbourville, Kentucky 40906. Bid openings will be open at the Knox County Board Annex (199 Daniel Boone Drive), August 14, 10 am and live on the website.
