Preschool registration for the 2013-2014 school year has been scheduled in Knox County.
Knox County Public Schools will be having a joint preschool/Headstart registration at the Sharp Academic Center on the campus of Union College on Friday, March 15 from 8:30am to 2pm.
Staff from both KCEOC and KCPS will be there to assist families with registration. Parents will need to complete an application which will be for both Headstart and preschool.
Children will be screened using the DIAL-IV in the developmental domains of motor, communication, cognitive, adaptive/self-help, and social.
Parents will need to bring the following to registration:
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Immunization Certificate
- Physical Exam
- Eye Exam
- Proof of Income (check stub, W-2, or tax returns)
