Parents now have one more tool to help keep track of their child’s progress in school.
Campus Mobile Portal, a companion to Parent Portal, is now available as a download for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch from Infinite Campus in the Apple App Store.
The app gives parents and students mobile access to the same Parent Portal content that is accessible through the website. Students and parents will be able to view grades, attendance, schedule, and assignments using the mobile application.
“Portal has always provided our parents with an immediate snapshot of how well their child is performing in school, and now accessing that information is as easy as using their iPhone”, said Frank Shelton, public relations director for the district.
Parents and students who already have a username and password for Parent Portal can start using the app. Users are walked through the process of obtaining and configuring the application after choosing Campus Mobile Portal in the App Store.
Parents who have not signed up for Parent Portal must visit their child’s school to obtain login information. Only one username and password is needed to view information for all students in a household, even if they attend different schools.
