What causes rain? Why does it thunder? When will spring be here?
Kindergarten students at Lynn Camp Elementary recently had their weather questions answered by an expert, WKYT meteorologist Kari Hall. Hall’s visit to Lynn Camp was a reward for students after studying a unit on weather.
Hall demonstrated weather related instruments, including tools they use in the studio, during her visit on February 3. She also shared a book about weather, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball.”
One student shouted out “I’m ready for spring” during Hall’s time with the students. Hall agreed.
