Students worked hard and brought home two1st place medals. Guill Jackson won 1st place in Medical Math. Amber Howard and Austin Hensley won 1st place in Career Health Display using the topic of marine biology.  Their advisor is Lorri Smith, health sciences teacher at Knox County ATC.

HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE.

HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA’s goal is to encourage all health occupations instructors and students to join and be actively involved in the HSE-HOSA Partnership.

Students who are interested in health occupations or joining HOSA should contact Lorri Smith at Knox County ATC.
