Knox Central students tested and proved their business skills and knowledge during the Region 6 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Leadership Conference held on March 8.
The conference, held on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University, is focused on preparing next-generation business leaders through competitive events. Competitive events fall into three categories: individual, team, and chapter. Individual and team events focus on skills useful in leadership and career development; chapter events recognize overall achievement and performance in chapter management and growth.
Knox Central earned first place honors in five events, second place in one event, and third place in five events. The students now advance to the State Leadership Conference to be held April 8-10 in Louisville.
