The awards program for the Knox County Art Show coordinated by the GFWC KY Barbourville Junior Woman’s Study Club was held on Monday evening, April 22, at the First United Methodist Church.
This year’s show featured over 120 entries which were judged by grade level. Entries were on display for public viewing prior to and following the awards ceremony. The best of show winners will be showcased at Commercial Bank on North Main Street.
“This project has allowed us to highlight the creative talents of our students in our community,” said Rita Wood, study club member.
A reception provided by the GFWC KY Barbourville Woman’s Study Club followed the presentation of awards.
