The Knox County Family Resource and Youth Service Centers are set to kick off a Summer of Fun and Fitness at the Barbourville Water Park starting June 13th.
Every Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks starting June 13 the Knox County FRYSCs will provide free admission for students and one adult per family to enter the water park. The fun begins at 11am and continues until 3pm each day.
Lunch will be provided by the KCEOC Summer Feed Program for all children ages 18 years and under.
There will be special activities at the water park on Thursdays. Programs and activities will be provided by 4-H Extension Office, the Dental Health Coalition, Knox County Health Department, and other provides.
On the last day of the event, July 13, the park will open at 10am with the Zoomobile there for students to see and interact with live animals.
