The Knox County Board of Education will conduct its next monthly meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, 11am ET / 10am CT, at the Board of Education Annex Building (199 Daniel Boone Drive, Barbourville). This meeting will be special called due to the change in time from their regular meetings. This meeting will be special called due to the change in time from the regularly set meeting calendar. This change allows members to attend the regional Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) meeting being held Thursday evening.

There will be a special meeting of the Knox County School District Finance Corporation on September 24, 2026, in concert with the regular meeting of the Knox County Board of Education (approximately 11am ET / 10am CT). The meeting will be held at the Knox County Board of Education Annex Building, 199 Daniel Boone Drive, Barbourville, KY 40906. The purpose of the meeting is to consider adopting a resolution authorizing the issuance of school building revenue bonds for school building purposes.
