Lynn Camp High School is proud to recognize Laura Everly as our YCC spotlight student for October 2016.
Laura is a 12th grader in her 3rd year of the YCC program. She is actively involved with the PLTW biomed program. Laura is a member of the Academic Team, Beta Club, KUNA and YCC. Laura has achieved several academic achievements including AP Scholar Award, Honor Roll, Proficient & Distinguished EOC Scores, currently ranked 2nd in her Senior Class and has applied for Lincoln Memorial Universities’ Honors Program. Laura enjoys her PLTW biomedical course especially the Medical Interventions class. She enjoyed learning how to diagnose and treat diseases. Laura also had the opportunity through the YCC and Biomedical programs to participate in Baptist Regional’s Medical Camp this past summer. During the week long camp Laura had the opportunity to observe a surgery, as well as visit each department of the hospital. Upon graduating this year Laura has already been accepted to LMU and plans to major in Chemistry- Premed. Lynn Camp is proud to recognize Laura Everly for her hard work and accomplishments.
