Knox Central Boys’ soccer team was defeated at home this past Thursday, September 7, 2017, by Oneida Baptist Institute bringing their season record 2-3.
Knox Central held against a very strong OBI team. Scoreless in the first half, it wasn’t until 17 minutes of the second half that OBI scored their first goal.
OBI picked up two additional goals in the second to defeat KC 3-0.
Coach Poff said that “Our team showed signs of fatigue in the second half which led to the break down defensively allowing OBI to score”. He also went on to say that “We are showing great improvement, but there is always room for more!”
The Panthers will go on the road this Saturday, September 9th, to face Wayne County.
