The Girdler Tigers took on the Dewitt Lions as boys’ elementary basketball kicked off their regular season of the county league.
The B-Team game ended in a Lion victory, 24-12. However, the A-Team game favored the home team with a 41-31 victory for the Tigers. Girdler’s victory has them on the right start with a 1-0 record while the Lions will be 0-1 but have plenty more games this season.
