Knox County Schools family,
As we finish the first half of the school year, I would like to extend my appreciation to each of you for sharing the gift of learning and knowledge with our students. Throughout the district students are actively engaged in instruction that is preparing them to lead us in the future. Teachers, parents, support staff, family members – everyone contributes to the growth of our students. Public education is a gift that comes with a cost, and I appreciate your sacrifices and commitment to providing our kids the best.
The spirit of the holidays is peace, love, and joy. Take time to experience rest during the next two weeks. Take time to make memories with family and friends. Take time to find quiet moments to reflect and remember the blessing that you are to our students and the blessing that they are to us.
From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
