The Knox County Board of Education is currently seeking feedback on its school wellness plan. The plan, a part of the Board’s policy and procedures manual, is to be reviewed annually for any needed changes.
Individuals who wish to provide feedback on the current wellness policy may do prior to the upcoming meeting of the Superintendent’s Council of Councils. Council members may also receive public input and bring to the meeting with them. Feedback should be sent to: Governance, Knox County Public Schools, 200 Daniel Boone Drive, Barbourville, KY 40906.
Feedback must be received by December 1, 2019. Feedback will be reviewed and if necessary the Board will amend the Wellness Policy at its January 2019 meeting.
