Knox Central High School’s literacy team of Sherry Faulkner and Teresa Gambrel are sharing the prestigious #readknoxky traveling hashtag award.

The award is a collaborative effort between the Knox County Public Schools and KEDC to spotlight schools that are creatively using Twitter to promote reading in their school.

Since starting their account, @kc_lit, Faulkner and Gambrel have their tweets expanded to include school happenings, meetings, and student achievements.  They are also assisted by kcps.media students Denny Lin and Danielle Hampshire to capture the moments in #PantherNation.

Follow them on Twitter and follow @readknoxky and #readknoxky for more literacy content from the Knox County Public Schools.
