Art students from Knox Central and Lynn Camp high schools attended an Arts Workshop held at Eastern Kentucky University’s Corbin campus on Thursday, November 9. Professor Ilona Szelekny from EKU shared with students various ways to express their creativity and ideas.
“Students had the opportunity to share ideas and get to know other art students from the Tri-County area,” said Jennifer Carey, gifted and talented coordinator for the district. “Students worked on graphic art and art design during their visit.”
The workshop was made possible by a grant received by the Tri-County area’s gifted and talented programs.
