Knox County’s Science Olympiad teams completed a successful season on Saturday with top finishers in the statewide competition.
Knox Central placed ninth overall with four students earning high honors. John Garrison and Cassidy West were the top finishers for the school, earning second place in the “Write It Do It” event. Jesse Keyes and Niven Achenjang earned third place honors in “Green Generation”.
The duo of Abram Mills and Laura Mills earned third place honors for the Knox County Middle School team in “Crave the Wave” event.
The state event was held at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green on April 23rd. Their sponsors were Travis Mills and Gentry Gibson.
