The Knox County Public Schools are among partners coming together to host a National Night Out event in downtown Barbourville on Tuesday, August 3.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
Together with Saint Joseph London Nurturing Children Program, the Barbourville Police Department, and Barbourville Tourism, the night out will feature a fun evening around the courthouse square. You’ll get the opportunity to meet local community partners and learn about resources in the community.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
The event will be from 6 pm until 8 pm and feature games, giveaways, and refreshments.
