Lynn Camp’s preschool program will soon benefit from a $1,000 prize drawing for Kaplan early education school supplies and materials.
Eight preschool sites were randomly selected for awards: Piner Elementary School, South Hancock Elementary, Lynn Camp Elementary, Grant’s Lick Elementary, Waco Elementary, Corbin Preschool Center, and Okolona Elementary Preschool-Head Start.
Winners were drawn from a pool of principals who responded to the December 2015 Kentucky All-STARS survey.
Incentives were made possible through a Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge grant award (RTT-ELC #S412A130045) from the United States Department of Education (USED), and collaboration between the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), the Cabinet for Health and family Services (CHFS) and the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood (GOEC).
