There were many firsts on Thursday, August 11, as students (and staff) across the district headed back to school to start the 2016-2017 academic year. Kindergarten students walking into school for the first time, the first day in the classroom for over twenty (2o) new teachers, the first day as principal at Central Elementary, first day as a high school principal at Knox Central, just to name a few.
