Middle school students from across Knox County gathered on Saturday, January 15, for the district’s Governor’s Cup competition. Held at Barbourville Independent this year, the competition consisted of students from Knox County Middle and middle-grade students from Lynn Camp, Barbourville, and Central Christian Academy.
Knox County Middle School was the overall winner of the day, totaling 50.5 in the various academic competitions. Students demonstrated their knowledge in areas of composition, mathematics, science, social students, language arts, arts and humanities, and quick recall.
