Feeling like fall at Lynn Camp

Fall was in the air at Lynn Camp Schools on Saturday, November 7, as the community gathered for a day of activities focused on reaching out, having fun, and supporting the Wildcats.

“We had many activities for everyone and a good crowd to enjoy them,” said Darya Logan, youth service center coordinator for the school.

Lining the circular drive at the middle and high school building were student clubs and organizations with games and information for students and parents alike.  The event allowed the student organizations to raise money for activities that they will participate in this year while creating awareness of the mission and goals of the groups.

The Lynn Camp Angel Tree received donations and support through a car show that was hosted on-site.  There was no registration fees to participate, only a donation to the cause.

A silent and live auction was also part of the event’s plans to benefit the boys and girls basketball teams as the start of the season approaches.

“The goal is to have a fun family atmosphere for everyone,” said Logan.
