FBLA students shine in State competition

Members of the Knox Central High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America shined on Tuesday, April 19, as they walked across the award stage at State competition.

Kaitlyn Gray and Megan Wagers earned fourth place honors as part of the chapter’s Banking and Financial Systems team.  Gray and Wagers had to demonstrate understanding of how financial institutions and financial consulting and advisory services operate, and it’s relationship to successful business ownership and management, as well as to personal financial success.

Wagers also placed fifth in the Word Processing event.  In the event, Wagers had to demonstrate her skills in production of all types of business forms—letters and mail-merge, memos, tables, reports (including statistical), materials from rough draft and unarranged copy, and email messages.
