Behind the mask, Lynn Camp students cover up the entire school

Lynn Camp students shown producing masks for students.

For family and consumer science teacher Jodie Carnes, it started during the summer when her mentor wanted help making some masks for friends in the medical field.  After working together to produce around 500 masks in just a few days, it occurred to Carnes that this needed to be a project for her fashion design classes.

With the help of Arthur Canada through the Promise Neighborhood grant, enough supplies were purchased to begin production on cloth masks for all students, preschool to high school.

In this video highlight, Carnes, Canada, and members of the fashion design class share about the process of creating masks for their school.
