March is National Women’s Month, and the future women leaders at Lynn Camp were paid a visit by Corbin Mayor Suzie Razmus on Wednesday, March 13.
Coordinated through the Youth Service Center, Razmus visited the elementary school to speak with 4th and 5th-grade young ladies.
“Being the first female Mayor for the City of Corbin, she is a great example for our young ladies,” explained FRYSC coordinator Darya Logan. “She spoke about her duties, but mainly gave encouragement for them to reach for their dreams and never let anyone stop them.”
Young gentlemen leaders, don’t feel left out. “It was a great visit, and I am working on a visitor for our young men as well,” added Logan.
