Skip the long lines, the bumper to bumper traffic, and find them a one of a kind gift right at home.

The Knox Central High School Class of 2020 is partnering with Barbourville Tourism to host a Christmas Bazaar, a part of Tourism’s Winter Nights and Magical Lights season kick-off.

Make your way to the old gymnasium on the campus of Knox County Middle School (Wall Street entrance) on Friday, December 6 and Saturday, December 7.

In addition to crafts and gift items, there will be a silent auction of trees, wreaths, gift baskets, and other Christmas items, including baked goods and homemade candies. Many of the vendors will be selling organic soaps, lotions, home remedies, herbs, crocheted items, Christmas decor, handmade jewelry with natural stones, Rae Dunn inspired ornaments, clay pot decor, and handcrafted wooden bowls.

The doors will be open on Friday from 11 am until 7 pm.  (Be sure to visit the front of the Knox County Courthouse at 6 pm for the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree.)  On Saturday, the bazaar will be open from 11 am until 3 pm.   (Check out the Top Baker Contest from 11 am until 3 pm in the gymnasium then prepare for the “I Believe in Santa Claus Christmas Parade at 6 pm.)
