Four Knox Central Students spent their summer in a networking and learning experience like none other as they were selected to participate in the Governor’s Scholars Program this summer. They were chosen from a pool of about two thousand applicants, of which only half are accepted state-wide. The students were selected based on their academic achievement, extracurricular activities, volunteer service, and their honors and awards. The students also had to write an essay to complete their application.
The 2018 participants were Savanna Gray, Jacob Lindsay, Amber Brown, and Dane Imel.
