HOSA chapter 13002 of Knox County is a well rounded group of people who have a shared goal of being future health professionals. There have been a various amount of activities which have allowed us to raise community awareness in hopes of educating people with basic skills that can save lives. Throughout this year we have focused on giving back to the community by hosting food, toy, and coat drives. We also have showed much appreciation to our teachers this year during both HOSA week and teacher appreciation week. Additionally, we have attended Upward basketball games where we educated on the community for six weeks straight every Saturday. By doing various topics each week, it allowed us to communicate with the community and build relationships with leaders of our community. We have all became closer as a chapter this year through leadership and teamwork. We have set the bar higher for the years.
