Blind date with a book

On October 25th and 26th, students at Lynn Camp Middle/High had a chance to go on a blind date. But this wasn’t just any blind date, it was a blind date with a book. Each date was set with wrapped books on linens decorated with lanterns, student-made centerpieces, and fresh rose petals set by candlelight.
As students went on the dates, they had the chance to rate each book as no chemistry, friend zone, and I’m in love. After the date, students chose one book based on their ratings to take home and read.

This event was planned by the Lynn Camp Middle/High Literacy committee which is comprised Link Literacy Coaches and a College Coach along with ELA teachers.
