Campaigning and “making promises” got real in the 4th grade at Jesse D. Lay Elementary on Thursday, March 7th.
It was the culminating performance event for Cathy Davis’s unit on elections. Students created campaign posters, delivered a speech on what they have to offer, registered to vote, and finally cast their vote for the best candidates.
