There’s No Place Like Grandma’s! This tried and true saying is really making a positive impact on Literacy at Flat Lick Elementary, as we proud to announce our “Reading Grandmas” Literacy Mentors. We are fortunate to have volunteer grandmas come read to and with our students Monday-Thursday grades K-6. Getting the community involved in our student’s education is so important and vital in the success of our school.
