Lynn Camp FFA chapter named THREE Star Chapter for 2024 by National Organization

The members of and chapter of Lynn Camp Future Farmers of America (FFA) have been recognized as a three star 2024 National Chapter Award from the National FFA Organization.

The program recognizes outstanding FFA chapters from throughout the country that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality FFA Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasizes growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.

“Words cannot describe how unbelievably proud I am of this group of young students who made this happen. They set a goal upon my arrival to be one of the best and they did not stop until it was met, said chapter advisor and agriculture teacher Matthew Price.

“This is an incredibly humbling honor and is the stepping stone for our chapter to do amazing things in the coming year and beyond. My passion for agriculture education and the FFA began in Room 227 at Lynn Camp High School and now, being the leader myself, I get to witness others develop that same passion for Ag Ed”,said Price as he reflected on memories made when he was in FFA at Lynn Camp.

“Our students worked so hard to achieve this esteemed honor, and I have no doubt they will continue to grow and earn these distinctions for many years to come.”

Chapters that received star ratings during judging this summer will be recognized at the 97th National FFA Convention & Expo, October 23-26.
