A week dedicated to celebrating the spectrum is set for April 10-14, 2023.
Autism acceptance week is a yearly event that is planned around Autism Acceptance Day on April 2. Since the Knox County Public Schools were on spring break during the official week, students and staff will celebrate it the week that they return to school. April is also Autism Acceptance Month.
Each day has a separate theme to create awareness and celebrate those on the autism spectrum:

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. CDC is committed to continuing to provide essential data on ASD, search for factors that put children at risk for ASD and possible causes, and develop resources that help identify children with ASD as early as possible.
