Academic League showcases the rising stars from elementary schools

They may be rookies and junior varsity students, but they know their academic facts and were quick to buzz in and score during the fall academic matches held between Knox County’s elementary schools.

The Knox County Academic League awards program was held on December 17 at Union Commonwealth University’s Conway Boatman Chapel.  All teams, individual MVPs, League MPVs, and top teams were recognized on stage for their academic excellence during the season.

Jennifer Carey, the district’s coordinator, said that she was proud of these students and looks forward to all of the achievements they will have in the future.
