While we are just now adjusting to writing or saying 2023, it is time for the Board of Education to begin looking at and selecting the academic calendar for the 2023-2024 school year. A feedback period is now open to all stakeholders on their preference for the first day for students, breaks during the year, and the tentative last day of school. There are three options to choose from. Each option contains one or more changes than the others. Please carefully read through each, perhaps even looking at the calendar on your phone or computer, to choose your preferred calendar.
Once survey results are received, a calendar committee will meet to review the information shared. The calendar committee will then suggest one calendar to the Board of Education for approval. The Board plans on discussing and/or taking action on the 2023-2024 calendar at their February meeting.
