Will your child be eligible for preschool this fall? Save the date for our annual spring preschool/headstart application and screening event to be held on May 12, 2017. Details will be made available later this spring.
Knox County’s preschool education programs are available for all four-year-old children whose family income is no more than 150% of poverty; all three and four-year-old children with developmental delays and disabilities, regardless of income; and other four-year- old children as placements are available based on district decision.
Parents and families are encouraged to go ahead and be collecting the information needed to register for preschool. Those items include
- Immunization record
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card (optional)
- Physical
- Eye Exam
