Knox County’s elementary school students competed on Saturday, February 11, in a quest to earn bragging rights in five written assessment exams, composition (on-demand writing), future problem-solving, and quick recall (quiz bowl).
Governor’s Cup, Kentucky’s premier academic competition, is open to students in elementary, middle, and high school grade levels with middle and high advancing to state and elementary students advancing to regional levels.
Elementary schools in Knox are divided into two district levels, district 109 and district 110.
