Jenna Mills, John Tyler Smith, and Austin Sprinkles are among hundreds of students from across the state that will participate in one of the summer sessions. This year’s sessions are being held at Bellarmine University, Centre College and Murray State University.

Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience. Students must complete an application and compete with others from across the state. Those selected attend the program free of charge.

The three students are rising seniors at Knox Central High School. They will be honored by the Knox County Board of Education in August.
