The 5th and 6th grade student members of the Central Elementary History Club, along with parents and faculty, worked as guest servers at the local Pizza Hut to raise money for an upcoming field trip. The group plans to visit Charleston, South Carolina this June. Pizza Hut donated ten percent of sales and all tips toward the trip.
Central Elementary staff stated that although students have worked diligently throughout the year to raise money for their upcoming trip, this event was much more than a fundraiser. The staff was extremely proud of the many compliments students received from the public.
