“We Want You” is more than the theme to this fall’s open house at Knox Central High as the school seeks to increase parent involvement.
Open House is scheduled for Friday evening, September 20, from 4pm-6:30pm at the high school. In addition to reviewing academic performance with teachers, parents and guardians will learn more about career pathways and extra services offered by the school. Parents/guardians will also learn about opportunities to get involved at their child’s school.
Students of parents/guardians which visit all of their teachers and complete a survey will be admitted into the Knox Central vs. Bell County football game for free.
The Knox Central Literacy Committee will be giving away literacy baskets to students whose parents visit the literacy table. Also, 2013-2014 yearbooks will be on pre-sale for $40.00 each.
