It is promoted as a “fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness” and now third grade students at Lynn Camp Elementary are joining the Zumba revolution.
Teacher Tabatha Wagers was looking for a way to keep her students active and provide a fun activity indoors during the dreary, cold winter weather. Through a guest instructor from Baptist Fitness Center in Corbin, students are staying active and learning a few dance moves too by participating in Zumba.
Wagers says that Zumba allows the third grade students to show their creativity and have a lot of fun.
