LC students tackle global issues at model UN assembly

Students at Lynn Camp High School are letting their voices be heard as they advocate with peers for changes that will have a global impact.

Members of the school’s KUNA chapter recently participated in the 1,200-student, three-day model United Nations conference where students advocated and voted on solutions for issues facing the world.

Rhea Carter, Laura Everly and Breanna White’s  resolution advocating for psychiatric help and skills training for displaced war victims in West Africa was passed by the UN summit.   Laura Everly was awarded Outstanding Ambassador and the entire team was awarded Delegation of Excellence.
