As schools across the state are working towards preparing all students to be college and career ready, the third grade class at Lay Elementary is proving that they are one step ahead.
The third grade students recently wrote letters to various colleges and universities requesting information as they take steps in planning for their future. The students, along with their teachers, were thrilled by the responses received.
