The awards program for the annual Knox County Art Show coordinated by the GFWC KY Barbourville Junior Woman’s Study Club was held on Monday evening, May 4, at the First United Methodist Church.
Over 140 entries were received by the Study Club to be judged as part of this year’s contest.
A reception provided by the GFWC KY Barbourville Woman’s Study Club followed the presentation of awards. Best of show winners will be displayed in the Commercial Bank’s main lobby.
“This project has allowed us to highlight the creative talents of our students in our community,” said Rita Wood, member of the Study Club.
