Keith Broughton, a math teacher at Knox Central High School, is the latest recipient of the “Math Master” award from the Knox County Board of Education. The award is presented to a math teacher and/or student each month that has demonstrated dedication and gains in mathematics.
“I appreciate the honor”, stated Broughton. “The credit should go to my students, they are the ones that actually achieved everything”.
Broughton shared with Board members how changes in his math classes have led to gains in assessment scores.
