Future Business Leaders prepare for State conference

Fourteen students will represent Knox Central High School at the Kentucky Future Business Leaders of America conference after competing at regional conference.

Future Business Leaders of America, a career and technical student organization, allows students in the pathways of business and marketing to demonstrate their knowledge of business principles and procedures through competitive events and networking opportunities.   The students competed against business students from across eastern Kentucky for the chance to advance to state during Region 6 competition held at Eastern Kentucky University on Friday, March 7.

The students are now preparing for the State Leadership Conference that will be held March 14-16 at the Galt House in Louisville.   Students who place in their competitive events at State will have an opportunity to advance to the National conference to be held June 29-July 2 in Nashville, Tennessee.
