The Knox Central Cheerleading team took first place at the 13th Region KHSAA Cheerleading Competition held Saturday, January 5, at Bell County High.
Cheerleaders won in the 2A large varsity division. The team now advances on to the State Competition to be held on January 26 at Western Kentucky University.
This is the third year in a row the team has advanced to the state competition.
