February’s monthly award ceremony at Central Elementary was full of celebration this week as students received big recognition for good character and achievement.
“We recognized Character Award winners, drew for perfect attendance winners, honored those who participated in the 6th grade showcase,” said Eric Hubbard, principal at Central Elementary.
The biggest awards that were presented came in the form of near life size banners. “Students that scored distinguished across board or had highest scale score in county got banners for our wall of excellence,” said Hubbard.
